Description
The Ecodesign legislation was introduced by the EU in order to reduce the impact that energy-using products such as air conditioning has on the planet.
Tier 2 of Lot 21 (the specific Ecodesign regulation which covers many air conditioning products, including comfort and process chillers) came into law on 1 January 2021, bringing even more stringent requirements.
Airedale’s popular Ecodesign CPD has been updated, taking into account the move to Tier 2 . This presentation focuses on chillers, with topics covered including:
• Ecodesign Overview
• Ecodesign in HVAC
• Ecodesign metrics and minimum standards
• Tier 2 & required manufacturer data
• Ecodesign enforcement: what to look out for
