Description
Lifescience Products Ltd are experts in water treatment technology specialising in physical water treatment. For over twenty years they've provided technical advice to many of the UK's leading consultants and contractors on a range of projects; from marque stadia and high rise office space to schools, hotels, hospitals and housing.
Lifescience Products Ltd also manufacture the market leading Water-King range of physical water conditioners. Officially the only product of its kind proven by independent laboratory testing to partially soften hot water, Water-King is a value engineered, maintenance free alternative to base exchange softening.
Course title and key points covered
Physical Water Treatment is increasingly specified by Consultants but there is still considerable uncertainty about how well it works and how reliable and effective it really is. At Lifescience we are specialists in this technology and have conducted a considerable amount of original research in the field. Some of this is published but much of it remains unpublished. A face to face presentation gives us the opportunity to talk frankly about the best (and worst) available technologies.
The presentation covers inter alia:
Hard Water and its Chemistry
The Problem with Hard Water (and the requirements of Part L and the Domestic Heating Compliance Guide)
Ways of Treating Hard Water:
How they work
Suitable Applications
Benefits
Limitations
Testing & Technological Advances
